As a consultant he has designed many architecture, planning and conservation projects spread over many states of India.
Having traveled extensively, he has published over 75 technical papers, 4 books (+4 more in the works), given numerous lectures on technical and popular subjects at national and international conferences, and displayed his paintings at many one-man shows in India, Europe, and the North & South Americas.
He has headed various Architecture, Planning and Fine Arts colleges. As an educationist and administrator, he laboriously developed fine arts faculty & facilities by scrapping post-matric diploma courses and starting post-intermediate degree courses in painting, sculpture, applied art and photography. Similarly he laid strong foundations of architecture and allied faculties by starting Bachelor of Planning, M.Arch in Environmental Design (for self employed & practicing architects), Part-time B.Arch (six years) for diploma holders, Master of Planning, M.Arch in Interior Design and Doctoral Research programmes in all branches of Architecture and planning. It is evident that this all-round progress of these colleges gave us the FIRST UNIVERSITY of Architecture and Fine arts in India — JNA&FAU.
He is an active Rotarian and the past president of Rotary Club of Hyderabad Mid town, India (Dist 3150)
